Here's THE LOOK!
This (faux fur) stole was on sale at the Gap, and I was like, "Me wants." So me getted. And there was much rejoicing, yay!
The only sad part about it is that it's supposed to be tied together, but that's not quite how I want to wear it. I'm considering doing a Velcro project with removable backings so that I can have the stole attached either by clips or other ingenious things. I haven't figured it all out yet, but I'm waiting for a revelation to hit me. Soon, hopefully.

THE LOOK: Boots for a Storm
The weather has finally decided to go all mutinous on us, and Pittsburgh's been assaulted with rain, snow, and winds. (Okay. So maybe assaulted isn't quite the right word since it's all been very on-and-off. But when it gets windy, it gets windy. And the same usually holds true for the rain and snow.)
Anyways, I can't really complain too much since the wind allowed me to take some cool pictures. (The whole process was a little frustrating, though: almost every time I was about to take a picture, the wind suddenly died down. Sad. Thankfully, I got a few neat photos out of the many that I took.)
Also, photo-editing is pretty awesome. (Hint-hint. Keep reading.)

THE LOOK: Mustard and Paisley
I used to hate prints when I was younger, and paisley was one of the types I hated the most. They just seemed so... garish and furniture-like. I couldn't understand why people wanted to look like walking sofas, so I snubbed them. I have, however, become rather fond of patterns of all sorts as time has passed, which you can probably tell.
Anyways, I'm keeping this post pretty short since I have lotsa-lotsa work. But I have a few more pictures after the jump, so click for more!

SPOTTED (little details)
Hillman Library
I saw this bag and really liked the print on it. It's certainly very unique, isn't it? So when I asked to take a picture, the owner of the backpack told me about the idea behind it -- and it was a very sweet one, indeed!

THE LOOK: Before the Frost
It's been snowing hardcore in Pittsburgh, but I'm lucky that I got around to taking these pictures a bit before it started getting nasty-cold. Don't be misled -- I was still freezing as these photos happened, but it beats having been caught in a frosty storm.
