Anyways, THE LOOK!
Bet you can't tell where I am based on this photo. Bet you. |
So this picture helps me establish a few things: I am in Tokyo, I am still dressing up despite sweating through way too many of my clothes, and I am still as shameless as ever (especially considering how the Japanese are definitely very conservative and don't quite appreciate over-excitement... which why I am surprised that I've not been killed quite yet).
But I wanted to go for a blue-on-blue look with some nice metallic accents: a gold belt, the silver watch (which my dad lent to me because I was an idiot and forgot to bring one with me), and the gray cardigan.
I like that it looks summery -- very lightweight, breezy, and cool (though let me warn you -- it's not necessarily as cool as I am hoping that I make it look).
I really love my belt. It's all shiny and sparkly... which is obviously why I love it. |
But life in Japan is wonderful. But crazy... But so good. And I know that this post is super short -- to the point where it's almost even offensive. But I'm just so tired, and I still have so much to review for tomorrow's class. (But I met a fellow blogger, who can attest to how busy life here is... So much to see, so much to eat, so much to buy, so much to wish I could buy.)
So I promise to tell you more about it later.
I promise.
No, really.
But for now, it's definitely time for bed because I'm about to pass out hardcore.
Until then, stay awesome. And remember: life's too short to be boring.
